Closed Alpha notice. GameSloth does not currently accept live subscription payments. This is a practical launch draft, not a substitute for tailored legal advice. Company registration, VAT and public business-address details will be added after the KVK registration is completed.

1. Current Closed Alpha status

Live paid subscriptions are currently disabled. Prices and plan features shown in the app or on the website are launch planning information and are not a charge until a checkout explicitly confirms a live purchase.

2. Plans

The current plan structure is a free core plan and an optional Sloth+ plan. The exact price, included features, billing interval and applicable taxes will be displayed immediately before checkout. GameSloth may introduce or retire plans, but existing customers will be informed before a material change affects them.

3. Recurring billing and automatic renewal

A monthly subscription is billed each month until cancelled. An annual subscription is billed each year until cancelled. The checkout page will clearly state that the plan renews automatically, the amount, the billing frequency and any trial or discount conditions before you confirm payment.

4. Payment processing

Payments will be processed by Stripe. Stripe may support different payment methods depending on your country. GameSloth receives billing status and identifiers but does not store complete card information.

5. Online cancellation

After live billing launches, you will be able to cancel online through the app's billing area or Stripe-hosted customer portal. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the current paid period keeps the paid features active until that date. Cancellation will not be hidden behind a phone-only process.

6. Plan changes

Where plan changes are supported, the billing portal will show the timing and financial effect before confirmation. Upgrades may take effect immediately and may involve a prorated charge. Downgrades may take effect at the next renewal date.

7. Failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe or GameSloth may retry the payment and send a notice. Paid features may be limited after reasonable notice if the amount remains unpaid. You can update payment details in the billing portal.

8. Price changes

We will provide reasonable advance notice before changing the recurring price for an existing subscription. The notice will explain when the change applies and any cancellation options. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Billing support

For billing or cancellation help, contact gameslothinfo@gmail.com. Include the email address connected to your GameSloth account, but never send full card details.
